Monte da Ravasqueira hosted, betwen 22 and 26 March, a CAI-A international driving contest, integrated in the VI Iberian Driving Cup.
The CAI-A, the highest level of event only surpassed by the world championship, for the classes of singles, pairs, four-in-hand and four-in-hand ponies, featured Dressage, Marathon and Obstacle Driving, with more than 80 competitors from Germany, Netherlands Antilles, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, Norway, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Portugal.
The CAI-A is on the Calendar of Events of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) and had the following winners:
Horses four-in-hand– Félix-Marie Brasseur (BEL)
Pairs-of-horses – François Dutilloy (FRA)
1 horse – André Herman (BEL)
Ponies four-in-hand– Mia Allo (BEL)
